How Are
You Really?
So often when someone asks a man, “How are you?” the usual answer is, “Yeah, good.” And that’s it. On the outside everything looks fine, but inside it can feel like we’re falling apart.
Wild Wood is a place to share what’s really going on—before it all gets too heavy. Think of it as a pressure release valve.
In the circle, you’ll find a group of men who listen without judgement, offer advice if you want it, and give you space to finally get things off your chest.
Wildwood is a community project that aims to help men
*Feel less isolated and more connected to others
*Build supportive peer relationships
*Increase confidence in social settings
*Develop practical outdoor and life skills in a learning whilst doing approach
*Engage more actively in their local community

How Do I Attend?
If you’re planning to come along, just let us know in advance so we can confirm numbers and make sure there’s a place ready for you.

Spring and Summer Sessions
From the 4th of May, we’ll return to the Welcombe Hills.
Sessions start at 6.15pm but there is a short walk up to the woodlands so we will meet you at the car park at 6pm if you are new and show you the way!
The map for parking is shown below, parking is free.
We also host Super Social Saturdays once a month — relaxed, enjoyable activities organised by the team, offering a chance to connect in a more informal setting doing some fun activities often led by other groups in our community.

Suicide is the biggest killer of Men under 50
A frightening statistic and not one that is well known. Men's mental health is a silent war and one we are all trying our best to combat individually coping as best we can. But there is another way!
